Use Policies

for

St Patrick's Catholic Church Parish Center

St. Patrick’s Parish Center is a shared asset of our Parish. As good stewards each individual and group that uses the facility is accountable for its safe and responsible use.

 

Use of the building is limited to ONLY the areas requested. If specified, Please use ONLY the entrance/exit doors assigned to your group. If use of the building involves children, adequate supervision by Virtus certified adults is required. CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RUN THROUGH THE BUILDING OR ENTER AREAS NOT RESERVED FOR THEIR EVENT. Each user group must be aware of and respect the fact that the building may be used by more than one group at a time.

 

No equipment, supplies or materials may be used without express permission. The partitions in the first floor meeting room MUST NOT BE MOVED.

 

DO NOT PROP OPEN ANY INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR DOORS. Do not use any tape, staples, tacks, or nails on the walls, columns, or ceilings. No candles with open flames may be used.

 

Each group is responsible for the condition of the area used. Please note that each group will be held accountable for misuse of the facility.The rooms must be left neat and clean. All meeting rooms and especially classrooms must be left as they were found. This includes completely cleaning the kitchen area if used, wiping down all tables and chairs and a quick pick up/sweeping of the floor. ALL TRASH MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING TO THE DUMPSTER BEHIND  THE BUILDING.

 

If there is a problem with gaining access to the facility, please notify the coordinator 301-924-2285. In case of a building emergency please contact Martin L'Etoile 301-509-0144.

 

Please be sure all event participants are out of the building before you turn off the lights and close all doors as you exit the building.

 

St Patrick’s follows Montgomery County Schools’ inclement weather policy.
